For the Realm: Game of Thrones’ Soundtrack

Game of Thrones

Now that the tears have dried and your jaw has been picked up off the floor, we’ve got something to cheer up you Game of Thrones fans. Game of Thrones composer Ramin Djawadi has unveiled his latest soundtrack for the the HBO series just in time for what’s sure to be a heart-stopping season finale on June 9. Included in this collection are some special guest appearances by indie outfit The Hold Steady (“The Bear and the Maiden Fair”) and Kerry Ingram who plays Shireen Baratheon (“It’s Always Summer Under the Sea”).

The series is going into hibernation for the summer, but you can continue to make everything seem epic with the soundtrack.

We curated this New Music Weekly playlist to have you on top of highlights from these and other important releases in no time. Completists should also pay a visit to the Rdio New Releases in order to see the full collection of all the songs and albums that have just come out.
