Just as the leaves continue to drop, so do new releases, and this week is a pile you’ll want to dive into. Swedish indie-popper El Perro Del Mar has a new album today, as do hard-rock faves Deftones and Toronto electronic duo Crystal Castles. For more, check out the expanded version of Lana Del Rey’s breakout debut, and then read through our playlist notes below while you play the New Music Tuesday playlist.

For every album and single new this week, browse through the Rdio New Releases. Your new favorite album could be at the bottom of the pile, so get rakin’!

Playlist Notes

  • Green Day - ¡DOS!
The epic pop-punk troupe release the second installment in their new album trilogy. Like ¡UNO!, ¡DOS! recalls the straight-up punk of their early days.

  • Soundgarden - King Animal
Break out the flannel: the ‘90s grunge favorites drop their first album since 1996 today, and fans are saying it’s been worth the wait. Decide for yourself, and give King Animal a listen.

  • The Weeknd - Trilogy
Toronto’s “Noir’n’B” wunderkind released three free mixtapes last year that catapulted him to stardom. Now, they get the remaster/reissue treatment, so they sound better than ever. Plus: bonus tracks!

  • Christina Aguilera - Lotus
The Voice host releases her first album since joining the show, and while it’s reportedly her most personal yet, it still features guest spots from The Voice co-hosts Blake Shelton and Cee-Lo Green.

  • One Direction - Take Me Home
The hottest boy band since N*SYNC releases their second album today, and swoon — we just fainted. You’ll have to listen to the album without us.
