Vancouver, British Columbia’s The Veer Union released their indie debut in 2006 and just three years later, the band signed to a major label — their second album was 2009’s Against the Grain. Since then, The Veer Union perfected their aggressive brand of grunge and heavy alternative and toured with bands like Hinder, Theory of a Deadman, and Seether.

Fast forward to now and The Veer Union is ready to drop Divide the Blackened Sky, the next step in their ascending career. According to the band, it’s their heaviest and darkest album yet, and represents “all the hard times we have been through over the last couple of years.” The album is out next week, but you can listen to Divide the Blackened Sky now, exclusively on Rdio.
