Yesterday one of Canada’s most esteemed awards, the Polaris Music Prize, released their long list of album nominees. These albums, nominated by a jury of Canadian music journalists, bloggers and broadcasters alike, represent Canada’s outstanding contribution to music.
Luckily for us, the Polaris Music Prize is an Rdio Influencer. Follow them to keep tabs on these albums, and listen to their great curated playlists, like this year’s 2011 Long List Sampler (which you can listen to below), as well as past years’ nominations and winners.
