Listen to Paul McCartney on Rdio

Paul McCartney

Macca fans rejoice — Paul McCartney is on Rdio! As one of the most successful songwriters in history, the former Beatle has been a prolific force over the last forty years, never taking more than four years to release an album. Over that time, he’s also recorded with his former band, Wings, his late wife, Linda McCartney, and has dabbled in classical and electronic music.

Beginning today, start listening to classic McCartney albums such as McCartney, McCartney II, along with his latest album, February’s Kisses on the Bottom. More albums from the McCartney catalog will be available in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.

Now on Rdio: Hüsker Dü

Husker

Hüsker Dü started as a straightforward hardcore group, but they became much more. Frustrated by the restrictions of hardcore music, they toyed with the genre’s formula, thereby setting the bar for what alternative and indie rock could be with albums like Zen Arcade, New Day Rising, and Flip Your Wig. If your favorite band can even loosely be categorized as punk, indie, hardcore, DIY, or alternative rock, they owe something to this pioneering quartet.

We’re happy to announce that Hüsker Dü’s catalog is now on Rdio for your listening pleasure. Listen to the revered Zen Arcade below. Then, at long last, add the rest of the band’s albums to your collection.
