
Preteen Zenith is the new project by Tim DeLaughter, current member of The Polyphonic Spree, and former Tripping Daisy member. What began as merely recording song ideas for posterity became something bigger when DeLaughter visited Philip E. Karnats in Chicago. Karnats’ ideas for the songs, both on an instrumental and recording level, led to a partnership that eventually yielded a full album, titled Rubble Guts and BB Eye.
That album will see release next week, but you can hear the whole thing now, only on Rdio. Fans of cinematic, colorful indie pop, listen up:

Haley Reinhart - Listen Up!
The debut album from this 2011 American Idol finalist prominently displays the powerful voice that took Reinhart to the top of the Idol rankings. Listen now to see what the fuss is about, and keep your ears perked for the guest spot from rapper B.o.B.
Aziz Ansari - Dangerously Delicious

World-music influenced, bass-heavy hip-hop quartet follows up their breakout 2010 album with Free Wired. It’s another album of foundation-shaking dance-party rap.
John Mayer - Born and Raised
Having conquered the world of pop rock already, Mayer heads in a folkier, more mature direction with Born and Raised.

Scissor Sisters - “Only The Horses”
The Sisters are back — Jake Shears, Babydaddy, Ana Matronic, Del Marquis, and Randy Real teamed with producer and DJ Calvin Harris to create this single off their upcoming fourth studio album, Magic Hour.
