The Young do things their own way. In the place of gimmicks and flashy production, the Austin rock outfit opted to record their debut full-length themselves on all-analog equipment. Dub Egg is their follow-up to the mini-album they released last year, and it’s the perfect showcase of their impressive guitar interplay and shimmering sonic textures.
Dub Egg is officially released on June 12, but you can hear the album in its entirety now, two weeks before its release, only on Rdio. For tried-and-true rock done in new, intriguing ways, listen on.
