New Features Add Functionality to Favourites

Last September we introduced Favourites on Rdio, allowing listeners to quickly collect their favourite songs, albums, stations, artists and playlists with the tap of a button. Now we’re adding even more functionality to Favourites — four new features make it easier than ever to listen to the songs you love the most.

  • Multi-Select Your Favourite Tracks
On the web, you can quickly select multiple tracks from an album or playlist to add them to your Favourites. Command+click the tracks you like, then right click to favourite them.

  • Play Just Your Favourites
Want to play only your favourite tracks on an album? Check out the “Play favourite songs” option on web and mobile.

  • Start Exploring With Listener Favourites
Introduce yourself to new music on Rdio by starting with the most popular songs on an album to find your own hits (or misses). The most favourited songs on an album are now easy to find with the new Listener Favourite icon.

  • Sort Your Favourites by Most Played
It’s now easy to find your favourite Favourites. Back by popular demand, you can sort your favourite tracks by the number of times you’ve listened to them. On the web, choose “Most Played” to order your top tracks by play count.

We'll continue to roll out more new features in the coming weeks, based on your listener feedback. We're dedicated to making Rdio the best music service in the world, tuned to you.
