Folk-rock trio The Lumineers formed their following the old-fashioned way. They began playing regular gigs in New York City and then Denver, where they developed their classic pop sound, infused with acoustic folk-isms like stomping and hand-clapping. Following an EP release, the band started attracting fans across the US, so they took the next step — releasing a full-length.
The band’s self-titled debut, The Lumineers, is out late in July, but you can hear it in full now, only on Rdio. Get your rustic, folk-pop fix below.
